Vaasan & Vaasan Oy and Leksandsbröd AB have signed a partnership
agreement for Swedish imports and distribution. The agreement, valid from 1
January 2005, applies to Vaasan & Vaasan Oy’s retail products. Vaasan &
Vaasan exports FINN CRISP thin crisps and crisp breads as well as Siljans crisp
breads to Sweden.
“Our partnership with Leksandsbröd allows us to create a customer-oriented and
efficient service concept for our retail customers. We will invest especially
in category management and in developing this product group”, says Magnus
Johanson, Director of International Operations in Vaasan & Vaasan.
“Together we will be able to offer our customers and consumers a wide and
versatile product selection”, he adds. In the Swedish HoReCa sector, Vaasan
& Vaasan will continue to work with its current importer, Adaco AB.
FINN CRISP products enjoy a solid market position in Sweden and constitute a
very well-known brand to consumers. FINN CRISP products have been available in
Sweden for 25 years, and according to consumer statistics, Swedes eat an
average of 360 grams of FINN CRISP thin crisps per year –equivalent to 1.8 FINN
CRISP packages per person per year.
