Fiber contents of food
A balanced diet described
in the food guide pyramid provides sufficient amounts of fiber as long as whole
grain products are given priority. Rye bread is an indispensable source of
fiber. In order to get the same amount of fiber as from 6-9 slices of whole
grain rye bread, you would have to eat nearly 2 kg potatoes or tomatoes!
